Tempo Automation Holds Tempo Talks Web Series for PCB Experts
Virtual sessions focused on PCB design decisions and how to transition to production
SAN FRANCISCO, July 15, 2021 — Tempo Automation, the world’s leading software-accelerated electronics manufacturer, held the first two sessions of a new web series called Tempo Talks to provide insight for printed circuit board (PCB) experts on how to take a design from conception to production. The web series allows viewers to hear directly from Tempo’s PCB experts and send in questions that are answered during the live sessions. Ralph Richart, Tempo’s chief technology officer and VP of manufacturing, and Ryan Saul, the company’s senior director of sales engineering, conducted the sessions.
Held May 27, the first session, “Tempo Talk #1: High-Leverage PCB Design Decisions to Streamline Your Build,” discussed how design decisions are the key driver of manufacturing speed and risk for PCB engineers, whether they are designing a first rev proto board, validating an existing design or ramping up for production.
On June 30, the second session, “Tempo Talk #2: Mastering PCB Validation and Transitioning to Production,” covered the new challenges that PCB makers face when scaling from prototype quantities to production-level volumes. Challenges such as how to hit specific cost and speed targets must be addressed early in the build cycle.
