At Tempo Automation, Inc. (“Tempo Automation, “we”, or “us”), we recognize that privacy is important.  We have created this Privacy Policy to inform you of how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from users of our website at www.tempoautomation.com (as well as any other websites or domains owned or operated by us), and from purchasers of our custom-built printed circuit board assemblies (“PCBAs”) and other products (collectively, our “Products”) and services provided by us and related plug-in software and tools (collectively, our “Services”).  As we update and expand our services, this Privacy Policy may change, so please refer back to it periodically. 

Our servers are located in the United States.  We may also transfer your personal information from the United States to other countries or regions in connection with processing and fulfilling orders, storing and processing data, and otherwise operating our Services.  In some cases, we may process personal information on a server outside your own country or region.  You should be aware that each country or region can have its own privacy and data security laws, some of which may be less stringent than your own country or region.

What Information and Data Do We Collect?

We do not market our website or services to children under the age of 13, nor do we knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information of individuals who are at least 13 years of age and less than 18 years of age, without the consent of their parent or guardian. We collect the following categories of personal information about you when you use our services:

  • Identifiers, which include personally identifiable information, such as your name, postal address, zip code, telephone number, email, online identifier, and internet protocol address, and your Tempo Automation registered user account information, such as account name, security questions, and passcode.

  • Commercial Information, which includes records of Products or Services purchased, obtained, or considered, or order purchasing or consuming history or tendencies.

  • Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information, which includes browsing history, search history, and information regarding a consumer’s interaction with an internet website, application, or advertisement.

The ways in which we collect that personal information when you use our services include:

  • When you make a request for quotation with us, we require you to provide certain information, which may include your email, zip code, or other personally identifiable information. When your order is confirmed, we collect additional information from you, including personally identifiable information, such as your name, address, and telephone number. If you pay through a payment account, we require you to provide credit card, debit card, or other payment account information.

  • To facilitate your use of our Services, we provide you with the ability to register and create a registered user account with Tempo Automation. In order to register and create the account, you are required to provide certain information, including personally identifiable information. As you use the Services, you may be able to add additional information to your account.

  • In connection with orders you place with us, you may send email or other communications to us. We also provide users with surveys requesting information about your experience with us and our Services to which you may respond, and we may provide you with other opportunities to submit reviews, comments, feedback, and other information about us and our Services. We will collect and retain those communications, responses, and submissions.

  • We collect information about your interaction with and your use of our website and Services, such as your IP address, your device, browser and operating system type and version, event information (such as device crashes), which pages you view, which page linked you to our website, and which link you select when you leave our website.

How Can You Update, Correct, or Delete Your Personal Information?

We provide the following means for you to update or correct your personal information or to delete/deactivate your registered user account:

  • We maintain your personal information in our business records for the period of time your personal information is needed for business purposes and to comply with legal requirements and our records retention policy. You may update or make corrections to your personal information through your registered user account. Individuals who are residents of the State of California have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”):

  • The right to request deletion of your personal information, under certain conditions.

  • The right to request correction of inaccurate information.

We have disclosed personal information of our customers, including identifiers and commercial information, to third parties, such as payment processors and manufacturers and vendors, in the last 12 months in order to provide Products and Services on behalf of those customers, including obtaining materials and components for orders and processing payments for orders.
